He's got the antlers tied on with a red satin bow, a brass jingle bell at his collar, and the proud, chin-up posture of somebody who believes the costume completely. Never mind that he's a mouse. It's Christmas, and in the elf world, a mouse with enough conviction can pull a sleigh.
Rupert the Rain Mouse also carries a secret about the whole Simpich Elf line. Like the maple leaf boat, he's sculpted to scale — and the scale tells you something. These elves aren't fairy-tale dwarves or garden gnomes. They stand just a few inches tall, mouse-high, small enough to live unnoticed in the woods and mountains of Colorado.
