Mr Dinwiddie - Simpich Elf
Elf Collection | Pristine Condition | Designed by Robert Simpich
Mr. Dinwiddie has just told a joke, and nobody is laughing harder at it than Mr. Dinwiddie.
Look at him — mittens clasped to his chest, eyes squeezed shut, rocked back on his heels, the punchline still working through him. He's the wit of the village: the elf with a joke for every occasion and a few for no occasion at all, the one who can't make it through his own best material with a straight face. No gathering in the woods really starts until Mr. Dinwiddie arrives, and none of them ends without somebody's sides hurting.
He's dressed in high village style: a blue coat over navy mittens and leggings, a blackwatch tartan scarf, and a grand floppy black hat that bounces when he laughs — which is to say, it bounces most of the day.
Cast, hand-painted, and dressed in hand-sewn clothing in the Simpich doll shop.
