"Turn and Become Like Little Children" - Tiny Porcelain Santa Collection - Signed by Robert Simpich

Little Porcelain Santa – “Unless You Become Like Little Children”

This tender little porcelain Santa captures one of the most heartfelt themes in the entire Simpich Santa collection: childlike joy, humility, and love. Seated on the ground, Santa pauses from his work to share a quiet moment with two small children—one perched happily on his shoulders, the other reaching up toward him in trust and delight. The scene feels intimate and unguarded, as though we’ve stumbled upon a private moment of Christmas joy.

Encircling the base is the inscription:
“Unless you become like little children you will never enter the kingdom.”
A gentle reminder of the spiritual heart of Christmas, this verse reflects Bob Simpich’s lifelong belief that wonder, innocence, and joy are not things we outgrow—but things we must protect.

Rendered in fine porcelain and hand-painted with soft, expressive detail, this Santa stands apart from larger, more theatrical designs. It is quiet, reflective, and deeply meaningful—meant to be held close, displayed thoughtfully, and returned to year after year.

A beautiful addition for collectors who appreciate the spiritual through-line of the Simpich Santas, this piece speaks not only to Christmas, but to the posture of the heart that the season calls us back to.
