In addition to designing his marionette productions,
David Simpich creates original one-of-a-kind Jester Poles available for purchase.
 Each is a mixed-media sculpture featuring an original hand-sculpted and
 painted character head which is then imaginatively costumed and
decorated above an attractive wooden base. Depicting a wide variety
of theatrical costuming themes which have ranged through the
years from Renaissance regalia to coffee beans to light bulbs, each is a
joyful burst of "puppetesque" enthusiasm especially
appropriate for a colorful and whimsical centerpiece or interior accent.

 Each signed sculpture comes complete with an engraved Jester name plate.
 The original heads are approximately the size of David's marionette
heads (a large fist) and, when mounted and costumed,
stand approximately 20 to 26 inches high.
Because no head or costume design is ever repeated,
availability is very limited.
